Michaele’s most recent book is the literary memoir The Rye Bread Marriage. Her previous book, God in a Cup, is widely credited with putting the specialty coffee industry on the map. Michaele leads writing workshops at Politics and Prose, Washington, D.C.’s beloved independent bookstore.

He teaches writing and Literature at St. Francis College. Mitch is a member, along with Modo di Bere founder Rose Thomas Bannister, of the Carroll Street Collective.

A member of the Lumbee Tribe, Dominique participates in the re-Indigenization movement of her generation by helping people “decolonize their bookshelves” through entrepreneurship, activism, writing, speaking and curriculum design.
